'HANGUPS' is a small contemporary art studio / gallery operating out of a former 150 year old Granary based in the historic Village of Beauly in the Highlands of Scotland.

We specialize in creating Hand Painted, larger sized canvas wall art paintings in several styles for today's contemporary interiors. We simply offer you what you want in any size, style and colour to suit your own individual needs.

'HANGUPS' has a totally different approach to art for interiors. Don't expect to see Mountains, Lochs, Stags, Sheep, Highland Cows or Scotch Mist...that's not for us...what you will see in our working art gallery is many examples of our own individual works in different styles, colours and sizes.

Here at 'HANGUPS' we set out to make art accessible to everyone. Because art is for everyone, not just the well-heeled few. Too often art sets out to shock, perplex and disturb. We would rather leave that job for the 'intellectuals' to ponder.

How often have you heard someone say 'I don't know much about art...but I know what I like'?...That's good enough for us! We want people to like art...to love it...not fear it or believe it's not for them. Art is fun. Art is pleasurable, passionate and liberating...so what are you waiting for? Go for it.
